Raphaela Lacerda recently joined the staff of the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra as assistant conductor. In that role, she will assist Anthony Parnther, the orchestra's music director and conductor, and Lesley Leighton, principal guest conductor, by supervising stage management; coordinating with the musicians' librarian; providing support to guest artists; assisting at rehearsals and educational concerts; collaborating with Parnther on the planning and selection of themes, repertoire and soloists; and acting as cover conductor for rehearsals, concerts and other programs.
